CMA Australia Program – Strategic Finance and Management

CMA Australia is an international professional program in financial management and strategic management for senior managers. In Australia, the CMA Program corresponds to MBA programs at the world’s Top 100 universities.

The students in the class are usually experienced men and women in positions: director, CFO, executive board, financial manager, accounting and control manager… They need to be trained in financial management and strategic management and will learn based on actual Case Studies.

  • Groups of up to 3-5 students will Establish and Implement Financial Strategy through Strategic Business Analysis for a listed business or the student’s real business. Can do independent projects (1 person).
  • Students participate in group work (Maximum 5 students per group – students choose their own group and project) to build a financial strategy and implementation plan for a real business (a student’s real business or a business listed on the stock exchange). Groups of students will do group projects together according to the arranged schedule 1-2 months after the end of the course.
  • Students with 20 years of experience or more: Participate in studying the above 2 subjects to become a CMA member (No need to take the exam or write the essay)

PROGRAM “CGBA – GLOBAL FINANCIAL AND BUSINESS ANALYSIS

CGBA: Certified Global Business Analyst (Certified Global Business Analyst) is one of two official programs according to international standards of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Australia (CMA Australia).

  • Module 1: Strategic business analysis
  • Module 2: Reading, understanding and analyzing financial statements
  • Module 3: Analyze the company’s financial structure
  • Module 4: Company and Stock Valuation
  • Financial investor

  • Strategic and business analyst
  • Corporate financial manager

CMA Australia will issue a CGBA – Certified Global Business Analyst membership certificate after students complete the study program, pass tests and projects, and complete membership registration procedures with CMA Australia. AFA Research & Education will issue a certificate of completion of the CGBA program.

After achieving the CGBA certificate, members can register the title “CGBA” after their name, for example: Long Phan, CGBA.

  • To achieve “CGBA” status, students need to meet the following conditions:
  • Complete the CGBA study program
  • Complete a project analyzing listed companies
  • Have a minimum of 24 months of work experience
  • Register to become a member of CMA Australia
  • After completing the CGBA program – Global Financial and Business Analysis and the Macroeconomics Analysis for Investment – MAI program, students can complete level 2 – Associate Wealth Planner (AWP) Wealth Management Expert.

Especially with the cooperation between AFA and WiGroup, AFA students will be given a 45-day account to use the WiChart application for free.

CPIA PROGRAM – INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS INTERNATIONAL AUDIT

The “International Standard Internal Audit – CPIA” program belongs to the Institute of Public Management Accountants Australia (CMA Australia) and is certified with the “CPIA – Certificate of Proficiency in Internal Audit”. The International Standard Internal Audit – CPIA program aims to standardize knowledge, share many years of experience in consulting and performing internal audits of experts, with the international standard framework program (IPPF) issued by the International Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

  • After completing the program, AFA will organize an exam for students to participate. If the student passes the exam, he or she will be awarded a certificate “CPIA – Certificate of Proficiency in Internal Audit”.
  • To take the exam and receive the certificate “CPIA – Certificate of Proficiency in Internal Audit”, students will pay a certificate fee of 55 AUD equivalent to 1,000,000 VND.
  • Certificate issued by the Australian Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (CMA Australia).
  • CPIA exam: Students will take an exam consisting of 30 – 50 multiple choice questions, the content of the exam will be knowledge that has been trained during the study process. Students will have a set of review questions before taking the exam. Students will use their account to take the test on the AFA online system (Time to take the test and receive the certificate is maximum 1 year from the date of opening the account).
